What does Sun Tracker do?

A core, weekly output of Sun Tracker is an itemized spreadsheet that details contractor commissions. For accounting departments, this provides information for non-employee compensation. As the dollar amounts reflected in this weekly spreadsheet output can be sizable, it is important everything is correctly configured.
When you work with Sun Tracker we speak with you on a regular basis. Frequent communication is especially important at the outset when everything is new, while we're learning about your business, and your teams and you are learning how to use to platform. This is what we mean by "white-gloves" treatment.
If I upgrade from one Core level to the next, am I invoiced for onboarding again?
Generally, "No."
Onboarding is intended to be a one-time cost to initially setup a sales & marketing business in the Sun Tracker system, to orient the new business with Sun Tracker's features and functionality, and to provide training to key business personnel.
As a business grows and is ready to upgrade to the next Core level, our sales team is available to assist with these transitions.
Why does the Core level cost and per user cost increase with each Core level?
As Core levels increase so does the amount of data storage, generated deals, email volume, the number of users, the number of products, and the number of sales offices. All this scaling increases complexity, and so Sun Tracker delivers additional tools to manage it.
Every Sun Tracker Core level introduces more administration features and security controls. These features are designed to support larger and larger teams and businesses, who require more robust collaboration and management capabilities.
Sun Tracker's pricing structure is designed to be flexible and scalable, allowing businesses to choose a plan, or multiple plans, that best fit their needs and budget.
For these reasons the Core level and per user costs increase.
What if we need a plan larger than the Core 500 level?
Sun Tracker can scale to the level required by your sales & marketing business. Our technical sales team is equipped to develop custom enterprise plans for sales & marketing businesses larger than the limits of the Core 500 plan.
One exercise our technical sales team will walk through is identifying logical business units. The most economical path forward may involve setting up multiple plans suited to business units of various sizes.

Can I get my data out of Sun Tracker?
Yes. Any data initially furnished to our team during onboarding as well as data collected through the normal use of Sun Tracker is available upon request.
Data may be made available through API calls as well as through more conventional means such as .csv, .xls, and .xlsx formats. Other data formats are also available.
In order for our technical support team to be effective exporting data, please specify the scope of data and the data format requirements. Customers can authorize specific users for data export requests. We verify users before exporting data in order to protect data security.
Why is a 12-month contract required?
Sun Tracker is a white-gloves offering. It takes considerable technical effort to understand each business in order to effectively onboard them. Onboarding is a commitment from us as well as the customer. It takes time for a business to successfully onboard, for business personnel to receive training, and for internal processes to mature to effectively operationalize Sun Tracker.
These are among the chief reasons we require a 12-month contract... to commit the resources required for our mutual success working together.
